I reccomend that you learn PLL and the "all edges oriented" (the first 7) OLL cases before learning full OLL. That is what's described in my Intermediate Method. As with any algorithms you learn, try to find ones that fit your hands.

These algorithms have a preference for the right hand.

Recognition and Memorization

OLL recognition is fairly easy, so I'm not going to elaborate too much. Look at the pattern formed by the stickers on top, then look at the pattern formed by the stickers on the sides. Just be able to recognize which algorithm you have from the angle you perform it at.
Memorization should be at your own pace, but not too much in one day. Memorization also becomes easier if you watch how parts of the F2l are brought out and manipulated around by the algorithms rather than blindly following the algorithm. I'd recommend learning them somewhat in the order I present them.
